Beat Signer from the Global Information Systems Group was instrumental in helping to get this project off the ground. He arranged that JGraph could be handed-in as a semester work.
The new design was strongly influenced by Men Muheim's experiments with JGraph in another project in the High Performance Computing Group at ETHZ. Thanks to Men for the redesign, and willingness to accept this work as a diploma thesis.
Christophe Avare translated JGraphpad to French, Shinji Nakamatsu provided the Japenese, Indosian and Thai versions. Thomas Suter, Lars Gersmann, Markus Schmidt, Antonio Caliano, Martina Huber and Andri Krämer suggested new features or read the drafts of the documentation. Farrukh Najmi helped to put up the CVS repository, and Claudio Rosati and David Larsson submitted bug fixes and new features, Francesco Candeliere translated the paper to Italian, and Michael Lawley has ported the documentation to the Docbook format.
